Spaces
A Space is a collaborative workspace that groups related meetings, documents, action items, and insights for a project, team, customer, or initiative. This guide covers what's on the Spaces page, creating a new Space, the actions available on a Space card, and using the Ask your CoS panel that sits alongside your Spaces.
What the Spaces page is
A Space is a collaborative workspace that groups related meetings, documents, action items, and insights for a project, team, customer, or initiative. It's Thout's way of keeping everything about that project in one place, so nothing gets lost between conversations.

Tip: Ask your CoS on the Spaces page answers across all your work, not just one Space. For a full walkthrough of pills, free-form prompts, @mentions, and chat history, see the Chat with your CoS guide.
Spaces tips & FAQ
What's the difference between a Space and a meeting?
A meeting is a single conversation; a Space is a container that can hold several related meetings, files, and notes for an ongoing project or team.
Can more than one person work in a Space?
Yes — Spaces are built for collaborating with others, not just for personal notes.
What happens if I delete a Space?
Delete space permanently removes it from the Spaces page, so use it only once you're sure the Space is no longer needed.
Does Ask your CoS only answer about the current Space?
No — the Ask your CoS panel on the Spaces page answers across your work in general. Use Chat with space from a card's menu if you want an answer scoped to just that Space.
Why are some items marked as overdue?
Ask your CoS flags action items that have passed their due date as Critical, showing how many days overdue they are so you can prioritize them first.
