Pulse is the weekly, workspace-wide momentum view. It bundles related discussion from across your meetings into threads, tracks whether each is moving forward or stalling, surfaces early warning signals, and lets you resolve, dismiss, or re-classify a thread. A row of badges at the top summarises the week — for example the date, and counts of meetings, threads, actions, and signals.

What's on a thread card

  • A trajectory badge — New, Escalating, Stalling, or Progressing — and a type tag (for example Emerging Risk, Strategic Question).
  • Metadata: how many people, how many meetings, and the thread's age in days.
  • A narrative summary — click Show more to read it in full.
  • Thumbs up / down ("Spot on" / "Not useful") to give feedback on the thread.
  • An ACTIONS row with + Add action to attach a follow-up task.

Tip: tapping the What Needs Attention or What Moved Forward items opens a chat with your CoS pre-loaded with a drill-down question about that thread.

How to change a thread's trajectory

You can tell Thout when its read on a thread is off, or close a thread out, from the thread's menu.

  1. Click ⋯ (Thread actions) on any thread card.
  2. Choose Resolve, Dismiss, or Override trajectory.

Override trajectory

  • From the menu, hover Override trajectory.
  • Pick the correct state: Mark as New, Mark as Escalating, Mark as Stalling, or Mark as Progressing.
Action What it does
ResolveCloses the thread out as handled.
DismissRemoves the thread; an Undo option appears briefly in case you change your mind.
Override trajectoryCorrects Thout's read of momentum to New, Escalating, Stalling, or Progressing.

Note: after you override or resolve a thread, Thout applies the change in the background — it can take a few seconds to settle.

How is Pulse different from Today?

Today is your daily list of priorities and risks. Pulse is the weekly, workspace-wide view of how themes are trending across all your meetings.

What does a thread's trajectory badge mean?

It's Thout's read on momentum: New (just surfaced), Escalating (getting worse), Stalling (stuck), or Progressing (moving forward). If it's wrong, use Override trajectory.

I dismissed a thread by mistake.

An Undo option appears briefly right after you dismiss — use it to bring the thread back.

What are "Early signals"?

Weak or early warnings Thout has spotted but isn't yet confident enough to raise as full threads. When there are none, the count shows 0 signals.

What does the thumbs up / down do on a thread?

It tells Thout whether the thread was Spot on or Not useful, which helps it surface better threads over time.

Pulse took a moment to load — is that normal?

Pulse aggregates data across every meeting and space, so it can take a few seconds to assemble the weekly view. It shows a loading state while it gathers the data.
